Western Vista collects images of checks on our mobile and desktop application to enable you to deposit funds remotely. The images are used to process deposits and display the image in your transaction history. We do not share these images. Images in our mobile application are uploaded at the user’s discretion for purposes of personalization and only used by the end user.

How does Western Vista Federal Credit Union protect my personal information?
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We authorize our employees to get your information only when they need it to do their work, and we require companies that work for us to protect your information.
How does Western Vista Federal Credit Union collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you:
• Open an account or give us your contact information
• Apply for a loan
• Provide employment information
• Give us wage information
We also collect information from others such as a credit bureaus, affiliates and/or others.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal Law gives you the right to limit only:
• Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
• Affiliates from using your information to market to you
• Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?
Your choices will apply to everyone on the account.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial or non-financial companies and may include non depository products.
Our affiliates include financial companies such as TruStage Insurance Agency LLC.
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
Western Vista does not share with non-affiliates so they can market to you.
Joint Marketing A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
Our joint marketing partners include an investment & insurance services company.
